To spread the warmth of festive season, Hilton New Delhi/Janakpuri organized the traditional cake-mixing ceremony at Pomodoro, the Italian restaurant. In-house guests, patrons, and the hotel team came together to participate in this traditional cake-mixing ceremony. We also brought in a few underprivileged students to celebrate the cake-mixing ceremony with us with much enthusiasm and cheerfulness. All the vital ingredients required for cake-mixing, like a variety of dry fruits, were arranged in separate sections, along with spirits including wine, brandy, and rum. The mixing of dry fruit,s including raisins, red cherries, black currants, and flavoring spices like ground cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves was indeed a sight to cherish. Everyone, including students, was dressed up in special aprons, chef caps, and gloves and shared the joy of cake-mixing with others. The cake-mixing ceremony was followed by a scrumptious high tea for all attendees. Goodie bags were given to students as a giveaway.
