A Little Incentive Keeps Housekeeping Carts Stocked — and Attitudes High.

Every Thursday we have a housekeeping meeting. At the meeting we have a drawing. If a cart is properly stocked at the end of the day, the housekeeper puts their name and date on a piece of paper and leaves it on the cart. The next morning that person takes the paper and puts it in the bucket. The name that is drawn gets a prize. It has made a big difference in the attitudes of the housekeepers. At the meeting we give prizes away for the person with the most work order tickets.
