We had a couple staying with us at the hotel to finalize the adoption of a Native American Indian baby girl (Shoshone Tribe). Our maintenance man, Joey Yeager, is a member of the Shoshone Tribe. When Joey found out about this, he did some beadwork for the child and also constructed a cradle board to give to the family. The guests were flabberghasted and wrote a letter of thanks for not just Joey’s incredible contribution, but also for ALL of our staff’s outstanding service during their stay. They consider us to be part of their new family. They will be returning, as this is the place where their new family was “born.” We also gave the couple some balloons, flowers, and a card, and upgraded the couple to a suite (they were diamond members).
