A Special Thank You to our Housekeeping Team for Driving Guest Loyalty.

The last day of International Housekeeping Week at Hilton Hurghada Long Beach Resort was different from the others, as after all the contests of the week, an entire day was dedicated to our hotel management’s recognizing and celebrating our Team Members. It was nearly impossible to express in words our intense feelings of joy and pride to work for Hilton. The most important events of the day were the two speeches given by our General Manager, Mr. Kamel Ajami, and our Cluster Director of Human Resources, Mrs. Sahar Mostafa. Their kind, encouraging words were the most unforgettable gesture ever received by our Housekeeping department. Below is a summary of their most inspiring phrases.

“In other hotels, Housekeeping teams are the hidden teams who are doing their job with limited interactions and engagement with guests. Also, in other hotels, Housekeeping is not leading the performance of the Hotel. This is completely different at the Hilton Hurghada Long Beach Resort. For the first time in my life, I have witnessed the Housekeeping team leading our Hotel performance in general, and our SALT scores in particular. When Housekeeping is performing well, the Hotel figures are good. Our Housekeeping Team is the most effective department in terms of positive guest feedback and increasing guest loyalty. We receive thank you letters and good comments through SALT and other channels on a daily basis. We cannot forget the words of the Quality Assurance consultant upon his last visit, a person with long years of experience, when he said that it was the best-cleaned hotel he had ever seen in his life and gave us a score above 99%. We are very proud of you, Team, and I am sure you will keep up the good work and even increase your performance in the future.”

All Housekeeping Team Members decided together, independently from their management, to give three thank you certificates to Mr. Kamel Ajami, General Manager, Mrs. Sahara Mostafa, Cluster Director of Human Resources, and Mr. Ibrahim Moawad, Executive Housekeeper, for all their effort in planning and organizing the set of competitions and celebration events in recognition of the Housekeeping Team over the last week.
