ABCD (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty) Recognition!

Above and Beyond the Call of Duty!

We started our ABCD Awards in January. We made displays and forms, which we then put throughout the hotel. We encourage each team member to fill out an award slip when they see a co-worker or even their own supervisor go Above and Beyond the Call of Duty with either our internal or external guests. A copy of each nomination form is put in a drawing at our CARE Rally. The names we draw get to spin our Lotto Wheel and receive a prize. Anything from gift certificates for local restaurants, grab bag items, a special lunch made by the executive chef for them and a co-worker, etc. It really helped increase employee morale and encouraged people to recognize and reward each other for a job well done!
