Catch Me at My Best—a Few of Our Favorites.

We’re halfway through our seasonal recognition program, Catch Me at My Best. We’ve received more than 340,000 guest comments—and what they have to say just keeps getting better. Here are a few of our favorites.

1. Front Desk Team Member Angel Berrios, from El San Juan Resort & Casino, Puerto Rico. “It was raining, and there was only one exit because a movie was filming at the hotel. Angelo and Hery stayed under the pouring rain and went beyond their duties to help guests with their luggage getting in and out of the hotel in rush hour.”

2. Maintenance & Engineering Team Member, Eduardo Saez, from Hilton Madrid Airport, Spain. “A guest was in her room with her two daughters when she realized a pigeon was stuck in her balcony, hitting itself against the walls. She called reception because she was a little bit scared. Reception contacted Eduardo, who was able to rescue the pigeon.”

3. Managers & Supervisors Team Member, Calum Manekshaw, from Hilton Edinburgh Airport hotel, U.K. “We had a partially-sighted guest who mentioned that he always dreamed of coming to Scotland to hear bagpipes. As it was his last night at the Hilton, Calum booked him a room at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dunblane Hydro, UK and organized a bottle of wine and a bagpipe player for the guest. With tears, the guest said that Calum’s gesture was “the best thing someone has ever done for me.”
