During the first week of May we celebrated F&B recognition week! Let me take you through our amazing week! Monday, breakfast take-over by the management: Our management team took over the breakfast so that the breakfast Team Members could enjoy some breakfast themselves. A variety of sandwiches, a yoghurt with granola, fresh juice and fruit was served in our Vine Room so that the breakfast team could recover from a busy morning. Monday, KICK OFF from the F&B Recognition Week: In the afternoon we celebrated the official Kick off from our F&B Recognition Week through a variety of games. We started with a sumo wrestling game, in which the banqueting, the restaurant, kitchen and stewarding and the bar competed against each other. After this we had a Kahoot game with 20 questions about Hilton and our property. During this event snacks and drinks were served! Tuesday, Blind Tasting: On Tuesday the restaurant organized a blind tasting. The Team Members were blindfolded and had to guess what they were eating. The restaurant and kitchen team did not make it easy for our Team Members and we had a lot of fun. Of course, a Team Member from the kitchen won! Wednesday, GIFT time: On this day gifts were handed out by the F&B manager to each Team Member. They received a jar filled with Dutch ‘Spek’, which are a sort of Marshmallows, with a note next to it that said: ‘Bedankt voor het ‘SPEK’taculaire jaar’, ‘Thank you for the ‘SPEK’taculair year’. Thursday, huddle game: The Team Members had to bring as much marshmallows from one side to the other side with a straw. It is not as easy as it seems and everybody was having a lot of fun. Friday, Guess the Drink: On our last day the Team Members had to taste 10 different drinks and guess what they were drinking. They had to guess wines, mocktails, cocktails, tonics, beers and so on. It was a great end of this amazing week!
