Day Four of Housekeeping Week at Hilton New Delhi/Janakpuri Hotel, India.

Day 4

Honeymoon turndown set up – Team Members from all departments participated in this pleasurable contest. In team of two they decorated rooms allotted to them honeymoon style with flowers, cake, artistic towel folding, candles etc. The most romantic room in the most cost conscious approach was selected by our General Manager. The team comprising of Anjali Kaur from Administration, Amit Arora from Finance, Maneesh Gupta from Security and Kuldeep from F&B Service offered a splendid honeymoon turn down set up that aided the Executive House Keeper to draw new ideas to offer honey moon set ups for honeymoon couples visiting our hotel.

Brand Standards Detectives – We prepared a room so that it had a variety of items that were not up to standards. Examples: burnt-out bulb, no batteries in the remote, not enough coffee packs, etc. We gave two teams of Housekeepers mixed with Front Office Team Members a set time to see how many issues they can spot. Sameer Javed and Rajat Singh from Front Office and Lalit Arya and Sanjay from Housekeeping spotted the most issues the fastest so won the challenge.
