In order to increase our SALT scores (Overall Service area), our HR Director came up with this fun idea. During the month of March, each manager was given a supply of Easter “egg-shaped” cards to distribute to employees for utilizing the Four Building Blocks. Everytime the employee received a positive comment or a manager witnessed and employee doing something noteworthy and/or utilizing one or all of the 4 building blocks that manager completed an “Egg”citement card and gave it to the employee. At the end of the month the employee with the most “Egg”citement cards won a 26” flat screen TV. Our scores went up in Overall Service from 67.8% to 70.1%. Associates were excited and now are looking forward to raise the scores next month to 72%.
