Big Wigs, Lots of Water and a Day of Giving Back!

On Saturday April 17th, a team from the Embassy Suites San Diego La Jolla volunteered at a water station for the cycling event know as the Tour De Cure. This 100 mile, 70 mile, 30 mile or 10 mile bike ride offers cyclist an opportunity to raise funds for the American Diabetes Association. Each year our hotel runs a rest stop along the course where we hand out water, assist riders in need and most importantly cheer them on as they ride by!

This year our rest stop theme was Disco Fever so we dressed in afro wigs, had a disco ball hanging from our tent and had disco tunes playing all day long for our riders.

In addition to all of our volunteers we also had an employee ride in the event! Our Sales Administrator, Sheri, rode the 70 mile course and raised $200 for the ADA!
