Partnering With Another Hotel to Improve Safety Knowledge.

Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa, China

In order to improve the joint ability of emergency handling within two captained hotels and strengthen the safety and first aid knowledge for TMs to integrate theory with practice. On June 9th and 25th, 2010, Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa cooperated with Jinmao Ritz-Carlton Sanya to conduct a fire drill and a salvage exercise. Both sides selected skilful TMs to participate in the exercise and they showed excellent professional skills in the whole process. Especially in the salvage exercise, facing the stormy seas, TMs were brave and keep a close cooperation with each other and successfully fulfilled the lifesaving task. In addition, the leaders of local Fire Bureau and Frontier Police Station were invited to the spot for watching and guiding. They gave a high praise of the activities and the TMs’ outstanding performance. We believe through such exercises TMs will be more confident and calm in the future emergency.
