Food & Beverage Recognition is “as Plain as Black and White” at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Johnson City, TN.

Since February was designated as a time to recognize our Food & Beverage Team Members, I sought out fun ways to make our employees smile. On February 11, our property hosted a large convention that kept our AM Servers and kitchen staff extra busy. To make things a little brighter, I went to Krispie Kreme and purchased two dozen donuts and dounut holes. I made a sign with the phrase “Donut you know how much we appreciate you?” This way, when an employee had a break, they were able to have a sweet treat to thank them for all of their hard work. On February 24, I wanted a way to show our appreciation for our PM Servers and Bartenders. My idea was very simple, inexpensive, and popular! I received tons of comments from other department employees and managers that lead me to believe the Oreos are a favorite treat accross the board!
