In order to really focus on service during our renovation times when we knew our scores could suffer we held a contest among our Front Desk team.
Any time an associate’s name was mentioned in a positive way on a comment card they received a gold star. Any time an associate’s name was mentioned in a positive way on a SALT survey they received two gold stars.
We ran the contest for fourth quarter and the associate who had the most stars won a $50 gift card to the restaurant of their choice and was recognized at our Christmas party.
