We were struggling with our VIP Benefit score. It had gone down to 50% below the targeted percentage. We decided to put together an HHonors cart. The cart is stocked with books, beverages, snacks, magazines, newspapers, breakfast coupons, crossword puzzles, Doubletree cookies, and more. We usually fill the hotel on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with at least 40 HHonor Diamond Members. The room attendant stops at every Diamond Member’s door and welcomes them to the hotel. They then get to pick anything off the cart. It is always a surprise to them and has been so rewarding, not only in the scores but by their reaction. Our score kept rising and in October, was at 85%!
