Hospitality + Service Lab at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa.

Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa hosted a pilot project of Hilton Worldwide where we invited Rak Hospital to get trained by us on what we do best…. Hospitality!

The team was welcomed by our Resort Manager, Mr Raouf Benchedli. It was followed by a highly engaging session by our Assistant Training manager, Lena Siebler, who was assisted by our front office manager, Sabri Chuaib. The session started off with the team from Rak Hospital being a little hesitant to participate, but after the interactive learning experience with Lena, they were so enthusiastic to take part in the activities. They read from slides or even shared their experiences of receiving hospitality.

We were really happy to hear that the place where they had the best experience was at our very own resort. Delivering great guest service is of supreme importance for them, and they wanted to learn about every single way that they could make the experience of their customers a memorable one.

We were also privileged to have our EMEA Corporate Responsibility Manager, Caroline Meledo, with us to welcome the Rak Hospital team and share her thoughts during the session. Her words were not only an inspiration to the team to want to be more hospitable, but also got the team to come out of their shells and interact more in the activities. During the activities, she went around to different teams to engage, encourage, and motivate them, which inspired them to want to do more. The session ended with the Rak Hospital team wanting more and could not wait for us to start the next module. The team even offered to train our staff in hygiene, disease prevention, etc. in return. A fantastic win-win partnership born out of this pilot!
