Housekeepers vs. Managers at Doubletree Hotel Wilmington.

We celebrated our Housekeepers all week with a goody cart, a sunrise breakfast, a deli day, and a water ice break. Our big finale to the week was our annual Housekeeping Olympics competition. The managers competed against the Housekeeping team in various fun events. We had a balloon toss, musical chairs, a relay race, a bed-making timed competition and a hotel trivia contest. This year we introduced a new event, towel origami. We had the teams compete against each other while trying to create cute animal shapes from directions out of our towels. We had cows, monkeys, rabbits and a walrus! The whole week was a fun celebration for the entire team and really allowed us all to show the Housekeeping Team how much we appreciate them. Sadly, the managers lost the competition, again this year. The Housekeeping Team won a Pizza Party for their department!
