We started preparing for our Laundry Week one month in advance by getting the approval of Human Resources and the Management for the whole week’s activities. Human Resources supported the idea of daily activities. All Laundry week activities were posted to the recognition website two weeks before the event. We kicked off our big annual laundry event on 22nd of April by welcoming newly hired TMs, recognizing ‘Getting Best Performance’ TMs and choosing the TM with the best grooming. It was a great day and it broke the daily routine of the sound of our Laundry machines. The second day was dedicated to celebrating the best Blue Energy Laundry story and presenting the award of the most creative idea, which helped in our huge laundry operation. This idea was changing the way of folding pillow cases in order to make our daily morning linen distribution smooth. The third day began with a ‘cleaning revolution’: all the Laundry Team started cleaning across hotel premises and in the Laundry, showing motivation and having fun with the team. During the fourth day we chose the best washer, the fastest presser and the fastest linen folding TM. Days are running fast with lots of fun and activities. We will continue the events of celebration and recognition throughout our Laundry Week.
The entire Laundry Team is appreciating the efforts of the Management to make them feel valued, cared for and respected.
