It Pays to Get High Inspection Scores!

Blanca Cruz,
Millennium Hilton, NY

We play games during the week — one of which is called “dollar days.” To play, we inspect two rooms from each housekeeper during the week after it has been cleaned. When we walk in, we give the housekeeper ten one-dollar bills. For every item we find that is not up to our standards, we take a dollar back! Most of them end up with anywhere from $8 to $9. However, if anyone gets a perfect room we will let them keep the $10 and then give them $10 more! They walk the room with us, so they can see what we are looking for.
