Recognizing One of Our “Heroes” at Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa.

Leo is a pool side attendant. All I have seen of Leo has been that he is a great team player since I joined the Recreation department as their Manager four months ago. Just experiencing working with Leo during the first few days I thought he was a supervisor. He leads by example and whenever I want anything to be done by the Pool side he is the “go to person.”

With or without supervision he manages the day! He is very hardworking, trustworthy and he has a passion for his work.

Apart from being a great team player he has saved lives by the Pool. On December, 4 2008 he saved a guest from Room 2616 who had trouble swimming. On January 2009 he rescues a child from falling into the deep area of the pool (guest in Room 4108). On February 2009 he rescued another child from the deep area of the pool. In January 2010, Leo taught Mr. Chen’s daughter of Room 5106 how to swim. After three swimming lessons she knew how to swim. Mr. Chen was very grateful.

It is indeed a miracle. Thanks Leo and thank you Hilton.

This is a big achievement. It is unforgettable for us who worked with Leo, and especially to our guests. Their holiday at Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa will live with them forever. They will talk about this to their friends, loved ones and the news will travel like fire. It is indeed a good promotion for our Hotel. It not only paints a good picture of Leo, but the Hotel as a whole. If I had to dedicate a song to Leo, It will definitely a song that have hit the world for a few years sang by the famous Mariah Carrey called “HERO.”

Yes I would call Leo one of our “HEROs” here at Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa.
