1. Our DTMET Team joined thousands of New Yorkers who took part in the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K walk at Central Park on Sunday to celebrate people who have battled breast cancer, raise awareness about ways to help prevent breast cancer, and raise money to find cures and support programs and services for those facing the disease.
All team members participating in the walk met at our Restaurant for complimentary Breakfast at our Met Grill and received a pink cap and sticker before going to the event.
2. This Sunday, Lexington Avenue closed between 42nd and 57th Street for over 100 non profit and corporate displays, including ethnic foods, art, craft, antique, jewelry, and merchandise exhibitors.
Our Hotel participated with DoubleTree cookies distributed to all who visited our tent. We sold water to collect funds to support our efforts in making strides against Breast Cancer, and all contributors entered into a drawing for a chance to win a free stay with us.
