Congratulations to 2013 CEO Light & Warmth Award winner, Juan Rolando!
Juan’s dedication Hospitality runs deeper than just loyalty. He truly bonds with guests at Hilton Lima Miraflores, Peru. As a family from the United States prepared to leave the country after a long stay, their daughter’s dog, Lucy, ran off. The hotel searched tirelessly, but little Lucy was nowhere to be found.
Disheartened, the family returned home. They never expected to see their furry friend again—but they didn’t expect Juan’s sense of Ownership.
Soon enough, Lucy wandered back to the hotel. With no one to care for her, Juan gladly volunteered to foster the little dog. He took her to his home, brought her to the vet, and kept her happy and well fed as he organized the complex permits necessary to send her back to the United States.
Thanks to Juan’s Ownership, a family is safely back together. He proves that Hospitality can reach all guests—two legged or four legged.
