Also known as Duracell Energizer and CEO—Chief Energy Officer—Sang has an outlook so bright that it inspires others. His tireless commitment to guests and Team Members has shone every day for 16 years.
Guests often cite Sang’s kindness and empathy as the reason they return to the hotel. He’s had a solid career of daily dedication. Even on his days off, Sang loyally attends Blue Energy Committee meetings, taking photos and videos for every meeting. Even while others are relaxing, Sang is busy capturing the events. He spends his personal time touching up and compiling the photos, creating an astoundingly uplifting presentation for the team.
When the hotel participated in Earth Hour, Sang stayed after work to capture the critical moment when the lights snapped off.
To share his passion, Sang founded the Millennium Seoul Hilton Photography Club. He even voluntarily photographs the community. He has led club members to become staff photographers for the Seoul Sports Association for the Disabled.
This year, he plans to take portraits of orphans from Heshim Won Orphanage, where many of the children have never had their photo taken professionally.
Sang leads the Health Club as an active leader, consistently supporting others and providing encouragement. Sang has built an engaged team who understands that their opinion is respected, and that everyone is pulling their weight—in the same direction.
Congratulations to our CEO Light & Warmth Award winner!
