August 12, 2011, had a different feel at Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi/Saket. The General Manager along with all the HODs came together to cook a ‘happy’ meal for the team members. The euphoria was seen to be believed with the team members peeping in the kitchen to catch a glimpse of their manager.
A day before the activity the team members painted colorful aprons for their managers and the managers adorned in the aprons took a walk around the offices inviting each team member for the special meal. A delightful and remarkable way to thank the team members and recognize them for their efforts. Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi/Saket has such fine examples of an effective team member recognition system which is simple, immediate, and powerfully reinforcing.
