For the second year in a row, Embassy Suites San Diego – La Jolla was awarded the City of San Diego’s Recycler of the Year Award. In a city where tourism is the third largest industry, ESLJ is the only hotel whose recycling efforts meet, or exceed the city’s recycling mandates. Our efforts have really paid off! Not only is our hotel making a difference in the world, but we are being recognized as leaders to educate and spread the word to our sister properties. This is a huge award, but it was won by considering our environmental impact in even the Smallest of actions, like turning off all office equipment when you leave for the day, or putting recyclables in the correct bin, and printing 2-sided.”
