Meet 2013 CEO Light & Warmth Award Winner Samantha Jayakumar—And See How She Celebrated Her Win!

Congratulations to Samantha Jayakumar, one of our 2013 CEO Light & Warmth Award winners. See these great pictures from her celebration, and read her story!

Samantha isn’t just bubbly; she’s exuberant. She channels her enthusiasm into Leadership, motivating Team Members at Kings Land by Hilton Grand Vacations Club, HI, to find the good in every situation.

When the Senior HR manager resigned, Samantha took Ownership and stepped in, in spite of the extra work. She excelled in her new duties, while never letting her regular responsibilities slip. Between the two roles, Samantha found time to keep recognition as a top priority, and organized a slew of fun events. She even tackled challenges like writing business plans and re-thinking SALT scores with a sense of fun and optimism.

Her unique Leadership style has helped Samantha become a leader in her community. Her boundless energy contributed to making the Waikoloa Charity Walk a success. She personally filled out 260 registration forms, decorated the food booth, and even organized a silent auction that raised $2,300.

Samantha’s contagious enthusiasm inspires all those around her, and makes the resort a better place to work—and stay.
