Simple Notes of Thanks Make a Big Impact!

I put a note up in the Kitchen and for the Restaurant & Kitchen staff recognizing their teamwork and outstanding service. Since I have done that it seems that they are trying to do better. I went one step further — I mentioned names. For example, I recognized Brenda for always smiling, Richard for customer service and Chef for best breakfast. The next day when I came in, they thanked me and were trying anything and everything to make there shift better, including friendly competition. It is working. Every one loves recognition in a positive way.
