Take Charge of Your Catch Me Prizes, Just Like Hampton Inn Huntington University Area, WV!

We always encourage hotels to take charge and provide their own Catch Me prizes. We LOVE this idea from Hampton Inn Huntington University Area, WV, who not only provides super cool prizes, but also has Team Members play a fun trading game. We wonder who will win the awesome grand prize?

“Every Friday, we draw a Catch Me card from our Catch Me box.  Every week, we have a gift—sometimes a gift card, other times a day off with pay, often a gift certificate for the Suite Shop, etc…  Whoever’s name is drawn gets a gift that they open in private. The following week, another Team Member’s name is drawn. They have the option to open the new gift, which they do not know the contents of, or steal the gift from the previous week, which they do not know the contents of, either. Each Team Member has to wait at least a week before they are able to have their gift.

It has been a great success, and our Team Members get very excited leading up to our Friday Huddle. They have made it part of their daily job to be more observant and make sure to catch one another at their best.

For the Catch Me finale, we have elected to give a wonderful grand prize, which we have made public to our Team Members so they will strive to be caught. The winner will receive a night on the town here in Huntington. This includes a night’s stay at a hotel downtown, dinner for two at our famous Marshall Cafe, a $100 Visa gift card to be used however they want, and the next day off with pay so they can sleep in and enjoy a well deserved paid day off.” — Stella Hunt
