The price is right! Michael Fatta and the team at HGI Orlando at SeaWorld start Fattabucks recognition program.

Got any change?

General manager Michael Fatta and the team at Hilton Garden Inn Orlando at SeaWorld, FL, have change to spare. A March meeting inspired the new recognition and reward program, Fattabucks. Fattabucks is a pseudo-currency given to Team Members who display excellent hospitality and teamwork.

Fattabucks — designed like a US dollar bill with a beaming picture of Fatta – come in $1 and $5 increments. They can be traded for pantry items (excluding alcoholic beverages), weekly bus passes, gift cards, 50 percent off restaurant menu items and the ultimate prize – a day off with pay.

Take a look at Fattabucks redemption values:

Pantry Items: 2.5(Retail cost). So if a soda retails for $2.50, it costs five Fattabucks.

Weekly bus pass: 30 Fattabucks.

Gift cards: 20 Fattabucks gets you a $10 gift card at Wal-Mart, Publix, 7-11 Gas Cards, Darden restaurants or Target.

What a great idea to promote ownership and teamwork. Save up, team!
