“Trick-or-Suite” Event Benefits Others.

The Embassy Suites San Diego Bay held their annual “Trick-or-Suite” on October 23rd and our hotel had a great time participating for the 5th year in a row. This is an event where local companies decorate a suite and donate costumes and candy in order to provide a safe atmosphere for underprivileged and sick children to trick or treat and celebrate Halloween. The kids have the opportunity to dress up in costume if they can not afford to do so on their own, they get to trick or treat from suite to suite, they are served lunch and they can participate in craft projects.

The Embassy Suites San Diego La Jolla and the Hilton Torrey Pines teamed up to decorate a suite this year. The theme of the room was “Superheroes” and the ladies from the hotels all dressed up as their favorite heroes. Our room was decorated with comic sayings such as Pow, Ka-Boom and Wham, we had had colored spot lights, a slide show of super heroes projected on a wall, theme music playing in the back ground and roughly 10 pounds of candy to pass out. The kids loved the room, loved the superheroes and took handfuls of candy and popcorn!
