Walk, Run, and Roll Against Bullying at Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington, MN.

On October 6, 2012 the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington had the opportunity to participate in Pacer’s Run, Walk, and Roll Against Bullying at Normandale Lake. We wanted to participate in this event to let the community know that the Hilton cares about the thousands of children that get bullied each day. We were there to help raise awareness and show our commitment and support to help put an end to bullying.

Our General Manager and Director of Revenue ran the 4 mile run while the rest of us walked the 1.5 miles around the lake. This was a great team building opportunity as we were able to talk about bullying; if any of us were ever bullied, how we dealt with knowing someone who was bullied, and then finally were able to write our commitments to end bullying on a banner that a local girl scouts were going to hang somewhere in the community.
