I heard that one of my team members was planning her daughter’s 8th birthday at another hotel. I contacted the Sales Director and arranged for the stay to be complimentary to my team member. She is one of our superstars! I offered to do the same for them. I created a birthday card, had her supervisor bring her in to present to her. Needless to say, her daughter was thrilled and will never forget her 8th birthday and our team member knows how much she is appreciated.
