Youth Week Celebrations at Hilton New Delhi/Janakpuri, India.

The Blue Energy Committee’s challenge for July/August focused on our brand pillar, “Show Me You Care.”

For this challenge, our Blue Energy Committee engaged all Team Members in Bright Blue Futures, focusing on providing stability and hope for youth. Hilton New Delhi/Janakpuri demonstrated its commitment towards youth by imparting value-based education to slum school children, focusing on morals such as loyalty, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, brave, clean, courtesy, tolerance, and sacrifice. These values would not only help them grow up to become better human beings, but also teach them to work towards humanity and world peace. We went to a school for slum children and did a story telling session with them. These lessons inspired them to lead a life of quality for themselves and for their community. Towards the end, we also gifted related story books to these children which made them dance with joy.

Hilton New Delhi/Janakpuri also adopted a blind child from the local blind residential school named Akhil Bhartiya Netrahin Sangh.  We are committed to sponsor the child’s education fees and books for a year.
